  • We currently have an opening for an experienced Structural Project Manager. The applicant shall have their PE with at least 5 years of experience in the structural engineering discipline, and involvement leading teams and projects in both design and construction.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Management of a project team.
    • Understands and follows the company’s standard CADD/BIM procedures for all project delivery.
    • Responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices in broad areas.
    • Assists in the supervision of work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel within the firm.
    • Conduct construction management tasks such as construction observation, submittal/shop drawing reviews and RFI coordination.
    • Attend client meetings for assigned projects and develop relationships with the clients and design team.
    • Attend review meetings with clients, consultants and/or city staff and become familiar with plan coordination process.
    • Participate in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, reviewing designs and drawings performed by others, and/or site visits.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
    • Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to achieve a license within one year.
    • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering required.
    • Strong Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit skills.
    • Experience with leading teams and projects.

  • Click Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Structural Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer’s main job responsibilities include providing technical expertise in design, calculations, drawing preparation, and submission of engineering documents. The individual is required to work on multiple assignments with overlapping schedules and needs to be able to multi-task to accomplish all tasks.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Perform engineering tasks under the supervision of a Project Manager.
    • Learn and adhere to concepts of the company’s standards and design practices.
    • Attend client meetings for assigned projects and develop relationships with the clients and design team.
    • Develop the ability to prepare a full set of construction documents for supervisor to review, with limited supervision.
    • Learn to assist other staff members and teach them how to become a productive team member.
    • Work up to becoming a Project Manager while mastering technical skills.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
    • EIT required with ability to obtain PE licensure.
    • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD software.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

  • Click Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Structural Drafter Designer to join our team. The applicant shall have experience in structural drafting and BIM modeling.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information (verbal instructions and notes) using BIM software programs (i.e. Revit).
    • Create and modify structural drawings from sketches, existing drawings, verbal descriptions, and by conferring with project architects and engineers .
    • Understands and follows the company’s standard CADD/BIM procedures for all project delivery.
    • Responsible for monitoring project design hours and for monitoring timeliness of design deliverables.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineers or Project Managers of the firm.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients.

    Required qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of related drafting / BIM experience.
    • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD software.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • We currently have an opening for a Civil Design Engineer. The applicant shall have their EIT, with primary focus on civil engineering for land, municipal, and commercial development.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Design of site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities for site and municipal development projects.
    • Production of engineering construction plans.
    • Preparation of design reports and construction specifications.
    • Support of construction activities during the construction phase.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from ABET accredited university.
    • Must possess Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
    • Strong Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3d skills.
    • Must have experience with land development and municipal site development types of clients.

  • Click Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Civil Designer Drafter to join our team. The applicant shall have experience with land, municipal, and commercial development.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Prepares drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for use by the team.
    • Creates and modifies drawings from sketches, existing drawings, verbal descriptions, and by conferring with project architects and engineers.
    • Understands and follows the company’s standard procedures for all project delivery.
    • Responsible for monitoring project design hours and for monitoring timeliness of design deliverables.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineers or Project Managers of the firm.
    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients.

    Required qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil engineering for land, municipal, and commercial development.
    • Strong Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    • Must have experience with land development and municipal site development types of clients.

WORKPLACE + CULTURE

The Click Engineering office is located on the first floor of the newly renovated Old Dallas High School in Downtown Dallas. Our office has a space for kicking back to relax, play pool, chat with co-workers, and host after-work happy hours. We have a gym as well so our employees can maintain their health and wellness. The DART Pearl/Arts District Rail Station conveniently stops right outside the building door and we also have free parking available for all employees. There are multiple restaurants and other retail located within walking distance and the newly improved Carpenter Park is just across the street.
